For Muang Thong United the so far disappointing season, could end in a Happy End, if Fowler's side overcome Buriram in the Thai FA Cup final on Wednesday. But one player will be missed in the line-up, Zesh Rehman.

That Zesh Rehman will be missed in the line-up for the final on Wednesday might have his reason. As we got to know two days ago, his contract was terminated with the "Twin Qilins". Presumably by his own wish. The Pakistani international with Premier League experience in England just had signed a contract beginning of the current season. After common initial difficulties, Zesh more and more adapted and became a regular during the last six month.

Reasons for a contract termination are not known to us. However, several clubs are showing interest to sign the 28-year-old. From Hong Kong was to be heard that he is awaited for the medicine. Reports suggesting it is AFC Cup participant Kitchee SC.

During his time in Thailand Zesh Rehman was often interviewed by the British media, about the football here and Thailand itself. He expressed himself always positive towards the press and therefore helped to portray a good picture and beat the big drum for Thailand. We like wish him all the best.

With Safee Sali a new name is thrown into the ring today by Siam Sport, as possible new Muang Thong signing. According to the report, Thailand's champion from 2009 and 2010 are interested in signing the 27-year-old striker and national team captain of Malaysia. With five goals he was crowned top-scorer of the AFF Suzuki Cup 2010 and decisively helped his nation to win the title for the first time in history.

In August last year he caused a stir telling the media a German club offered him a trial. The trial probably never came about, but the striker in service of Pelita Jaya (Indonesia) was spending two weeks with Cardiff City in September.

Whether there is any really serious interest from Muang Thong, or whether he is just one usual name in the transfer jungle remains to be seen. The prolific striker however, would be a good addition to the squad and the Thai league.
