Club Info

Trat FC were founded just in 2012 and with it was one off the last clubs in Thailand to represent a province. Conveniently located near the casinos, on the border to Cambodia, the club was in a situation to pay former TPL players like Miroslav Toth a wage as almost high as in Thailand's top league.

In its first ever season, the side qualified for the play-offs Immediately and eventually went up to Division One. Finishing the 2013 in 7th place, the side never had to deal with relegation. In the post-season Trat lost many of its key players and the club may not be able to repeat the 2013 success.
